Compensation Analyst Intern
Location: Cary, NC
We are currently seeking a human resources focused intern who will participate in a three to four month compensation project in our Cary, NC Corporate Headquarters.
COMPENSATION ANALYST
The Compensation Analyst will join our Human Resources team to assist with and deliver a full review and revision of the existing market-based pay structure for Loparex positions in the Americas region.
Project Tactics:
- Gather background information needed for project success
- Determine sources of external market data
- Prepare data for analysis and use
- Review existing job families and descriptions
- Conduct the market data analysis
- Develop pay structure(s)
- Calculate the costs of revised pay structure(s)
- Implement and evaluate the new pay structure(s)
- Review existing job titles by location and function
- Make recommendations for standardizing titles
- Partner with HR Generalist in auditing jobs for content, preparing job descriptions and classifying jobs by comp value
- Support related HR team projects and activities
- Review and gain exposure to Merit Planning module within Performance Management tool
- Maintain high level of confidentiality and discretion during pay structure research, review and implementation
Qualifications:
- Current Junior or Senior pursuing BA/BS, or a Master’s level student, in Human Resources, Business Management or related program
- High level of confidentiality and discretion in all aspects of responsibilities
- Excellent time management, organization and communication skills
- Ability to excel in a team environment
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience in HRIS and reporting systems a plus
- Previous project work in Human Resources a plus
